 The Friends of
Anclote Key State Park is a volunteer organization that supports Anclote Key
State Park.
The Citizens Support Organization is
designated by the State of Florida and the Department of Environmental
Protection and through volunteer efforts we provide support for Anclote Key
Preserve & State Park.
There is an area below the flag pole next to the lighthouse where people
donate to the lighthouse and in return receive an engraved brick. Within the
next few months there will be a new brick with MEGAN CLEMENTI, MISS FLORIDA
USA 2010 written on it. |

Here you see the Resident Rangers house. We provide
volunteer projects, services, and general
assistance to our Island Ranger. We cultivate greater public understanding
of the nature and the social and cultural history of Anclote Key. We
promote interpretive programs, special events, and public awareness of the
ecological importance of the Island.
We also provide fundraising for
various projects needed on the Island.
